What this covers

Server logs and visitor statistics

This notice explains the technical information our website records when you visit it. It is provided by GM Alternative Provision Ltd (company registration 14836153), Unit 1 Green Lane Workshops, North Seaton Road, Ashington, Northumberland, NE63 0EF, which is responsible for this information.

Our full Privacy Notice, covering the other information we hold, will be published on our Policies page once it is approved.

What is recorded

When you visit this website, our web server automatically records basic technical details about each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page or file requested, the response, the page that linked you here (if any), and your browser's user-agent string.

Why we record it

We use these logs to keep the website secure and working properly, to investigate faults or misuse, and to produce weekly visitor totals, such as page views and the number of visitors.

Our lawful basis

We do this on the basis of our legitimate interests in running a secure, reliable website. We do not use cookies or tracking scripts for this. We do not use these logs for advertising or share them with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Raw server logs are kept for no more than 14 days and are then deleted automatically. Our weekly statistics contain totals only. They never include IP addresses or anything else that identifies you; to count visitors, we use a one-way code that is discarded after each report.

Who handles it for us

Our website is hosted for us by Elliott Digital on a server in the United Kingdom. Elliott Digital processes these logs on our behalf and only on our instructions.

Fonts

Our pages use fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google to fetch them, and Google receives your IP address as part of that connection.

Your rights

You can ask us about the information we hold, object to this processing, or ask us to delete it, by emailing mandy.conway@gandmtraining.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
